The Claroty Continuous Threat Detection (CTD) Connector for Rockwell FactoryTalk® AssetCentre fuses Claroty’s operational technology (OT) visibility with AssetCentre’s data management capabilities. This novel joint solution provides customers with automation, optimization, and centralization of asset inventory, risk and vulnerability assessment and correlation, and backup and recovery coverage for industrial networks.
Image 1: View of the change history and backups of an asset identified as a component of a project file in AssetCentre.
Image 2: View within the Claroty Platform of the same asset, which Claroty identified as a Rockwell PLC at level 1 of the network Details such as the asset’s rack slot, model, and IP have also been identified and populated here.
This end-to-end joint solution enables assets to be rapidly identified, centrally managed, and continuously monitored for anomalous activity by Claroty, while AssetCentre provides automated backup and version control. As a result, customers gain:
Comprehensive OT visibility and a single source of truth for monitoring OT:
A centralized, fully automated OT asset inventory across the entire OT environment. Insights include the hardware, firmware, model, rack slot, IP, vendor, and related details for all assets – even tough-to-identify nested devices and those located at levels 0-2.
Coverage for risks and vulnerabilities in OT environments:
Continuous assessment of risks and vulnerabilities, automatically correlated with the assets in the OT environment to provide tailored mitigation and remediation guidance.
Expanded disaster recovery coverage:
Critical assets not already included in a disaster recovery plan are revealed and backed up, empowering timely and efficient disaster recovery.
Rockwell Automation, a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, and Claroty, the industrial cybersecurity leader trusted by the world’s largest enterprises, already have a deep and long-standing relationship stretching from Rockwell’s repeated funding investment in Claroty to working to provide greater value to mutual customers. This joint solution, built on the foundation of the tremendous partnership between Rockwell and Claroty, provides AssetCentre and Claroty users with unique and unprecedented OT device management and security benefits.
